Hi, I'm Pascal.
Like many artists, I've started out in a situation in life where I felt completely deprived of the possibility to self-express in certain areas: I was shy and lacking in self confidence, and moral rules made it appear that things that are joyful are sinful or hurt others.
So today I'm using this to fuel my erotic art work. In this work, nothing that God made is bad or sinful, absolutely no part of the body needs to be hidden or censored. When people feel free to undress, they feel joyful and free. When all their parts are accepted, there is ease.
I co-create with models who wish to express the fulness of their erotic power. This expression should not be limited or bound by judgement of others.
At the same time, we also look to create the perspectives that most ideally express the model's inner truth of erotic power to the external viewer.
I believe in :
- Human kindness - every shooting should start from a positive and accepting attitude towards each other.
- Nothing needs to be hidden - all body parts may be revealed in their fulness.
- Beauty, estheticism and erotic power - Not being bound by rules also means that we are allowed to let ourselves be as beautiful as we can. We are conditioned by society as to what we find attractive. And we are just as allowed to go against this conditioning to communicate our own vision of our beauty, as we are allowed to play along with it and see just how far we can push it.
- Being natural - Did you ever notice how people are the most beautiful when they just being themselves ?
- Being playful - Allowing to try things out.
- Being creative - Add color and uniqueness.
- Being prepared - The better we are prepared, the better we can use our faculties to improvise and harness the flow of the present moment. To create something meaningful, prepare it like you mean it. This may range from just making sure you sleep well the night before, to playing the scenes you want to do in your mind, procuring accessories, going to the hairdresser if you want to, groom your body and so on. This is, of course, true for both the photographer and the model (except for the hairdo).
I am a trained photographer using professional equipment.
I'm interested in collaborations on various subjects, including for example professional make-up and body-painting. One subject in particular would be the creation of an erotic graphic novel. I would also love to experience being on the other side of the camera.
